Gaurav Taneja leads asset management at Spectra, which he joined in August 2023. He acts for owners of branded hotels: he reviews budgets, monthly results and capital plans, and measures the operator’s performance against the owner’s goals.
He spent nearly two decades before that running hotels. He was General Manager with IHG Hotels & Resorts in Jaipur, Carlson Rezidor in Bengaluru, Accor at Novotel Nagpur, Sarovar Hotels & Resorts in Chandigarh and the Eastin Hotel in Ahmedabad, and Corporate General Manager of Amatra Hotels. His earlier years were in food and beverage, with Oberoi Hotels & Resorts, the Renaissance Mumbai Hotel & Convention Centre and Accor, where he was promoted to Resident Manager of Novotel Mumbai Juhu Beach.
He holds a diploma in hotel management from the Institute of Hotel Management.
