Owners and developers bring him in before they build, to answer the questions that decide whether a hotel works: the site and its positioning, the operator or brand and its terms, and whether the feasibility is real. He has led more than 100 hotel, resort and mixed-use developments across India.
He began in hotel operations. He was Front Office Manager at the Radisson Hotel Delhi, spent nearly six years at the Yak & Yeti Hotel in Kathmandu, rising to General Manager of the 250-room hotel, and was Resident Manager of The Grand New Delhi, a 390-room five-star deluxe hotel. From 2012 to 2014 he was Hard Rock International’s development representative in India.
He is a director of ILC Services, Spectra’s club and leisure joint venture with International Leisure Consultants of Hong Kong, and the founder of Raht Hotels & Resorts, Spectra’s own land-led boutique brand.
