Hotel pre-opening and technical services, from drawings to opening day.
For owners with a hotel under design or construction. Spectra’s technical services review layouts and compliance while the building takes shape. Its pre-opening team recruits and trains the staff, writes the SOPs, commissions the kitchens and gets the hotel ready for its first guest.
Delivered for boutique resorts in Goa, a wellbeing centre in Pune and a restaurant in Manali.
Get your hotel ready to open
A senior consultant calls you back. No middle layers.
Technical services, also called technical assistance, are an operator’s review of a hotel while it is designed and built: layouts, back-of-house areas, kitchens and compliance. The aim is a building that works as a hotel on the day it opens.
When should pre-opening start?
Early. Recruitment, training, SOPs, supplier contracts and the launch all have to be complete before the first guest arrives, and several depend on decisions taken during construction. The enquiry form asks for your target opening date so that we can plan backwards from it.
What does pre-opening include?
Pre-opening management, staff recruitment and training, SOP development, F&B strategy and kitchen commissioning. Spectra runs these as one programme with a single point of accountability.
Can Spectra manage the hotel after opening?
Yes. Several pre-opening engagements have continued into management, where Spectra runs the hotel under the owner’s brand. Others end with a handover to the owner’s team.
When do you open?
Tell us the location and the target date. We will tell you what has to happen between now and then.
