Hence, these areas are slated to see a significant boost in their hospitality facilities, enhancing both their capacity and luxury offerings.

Heritage properties in the state are being transformed into luxury accommodations, and this initiative by the state government invites private investors to revitalise forts and palaces, which can inturn attract tourists. The state is also making a significant push towards promoting homestays and rural tourism which can offer authentic experiences in the form of farm stays to the tourists. These setups are designed to immerse tourists in the local culture, cuisine, and folklore, providing a taste of rural life.

Uttar Pradesh is also diversifying its tourism portfolio by developing multi-experience tourism circuits, which includes wellness centers and improved links to Buddhist destinations such as Sarnath and Kaushambi, alongside promoting adventure tourism, MICE (meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions), and ecotourism. This comprehensive development strategy not only aims to enhance tourist experiences but also bolster the local economy and preserve the rich cultural heritage of the state.
