Phase II
The review of the proposed site will confirm the location, project site and area evaluation as well as identify factors that must be incorporated into any planning for the development.

Reviewing any market analysis that has been undertaken for the project to determine that these aspects are considered properly in finalizing the concept.

From this review we would determine the further information that is required to complete our recommendations which would focus on the competitive developments and the required facilities and structure.

This section summarises the above areas and presents initial ideas and recommendations. It will incorporate a S.W.O.T. analysis (strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, threats), focussing on all elements affecting the project.

It will identify critical success factors that will need to be considered and, if appropriate, will recommend a particular course of action that should be considered.

The section will highlight opportunities and present a proposed direction for the destination and area. 

Here we review products being offered by competitor properties, as well as those to

be anticipated from future competitors, assessing the impact these will have on the development of the destination.

Interpretation and Recommendations

Phase III

The section will identify and propose the concepts, strategies and unique features and characteristics that will allow the destination to establish the best positioning, identity, and image.

The Facilities Mix will indicate which facilities and services will be the optimum elements to be included in the project and the critical mass that will be required to establish the area as a tourism destination.

A proposed Facility Mix identifies an appropriate zoning for the area and how the different components can be incorporated in to the development.

 This exercise incorporates recommended facilities and their planning and aims to ensure that areas retain their individual identity, can function well independently or together and yet can be operated efficiently.

In this section we will research and recommend   the optimum components that should be incorporated in the area and the potential revenues that can be developed from these aspects.

The section draws on findings from earlier market and competitor studies, plus incorporates the professional experience of SHS that is drawn from throughout the Asian region.

The potential return from the project will come from the successful incorporation of the different components in a masterplan that delivers a good destination project.

The potential development costs and operational returns will be reviewed to determine the viability of the project in becoming a profitable and sustainable venture, and the infrastructure support that will be needed to achieve this.
